Mellow Mushroom Social: (click to see picture) We had our first social last thursday at Mellow Mushroom, it was a great time and hope to see more of you there in the future!

2007-2008 Projects and Committees

This year, our chapter of PRSSA wants everyone to get real-world experience with public relations. We are going to have three events and public relations campaigns that people are going to be able to work on.

• Kennedy’s Coffee: We are going to do a whole public relations campaign to increase popularity and sales of this coffee house.
• Beerfest: We are going to work closely with Mellow Mushroom to put on this event. We will work with beer vendors, bands, and the Riverdogs Marketing Department.
• Music Festival: We are changing our annual Battle of the Bands to a music festival. We will need committees in charge of bands, tickets, and promotion.

Please think about which committee you would most like to be involved. Please remember, if you volunteer on a committee it will be great real world experience and will look great on a resume, however you will need to contribute time and ideas in order for a successful event or campaign!
